Mirjana Spajić Buturac is an artistic photographer and a member of HULULK (Croatian Association of Fine Artists and Art Critics). Since 2020, she has been experimenting with ultraviolet light and oil-in-water techniques, exploring hidden macro worlds that often resemble abstract, almost cosmic landscapes.
One of her photographs, Saturn, was selected among ten works representing Croatia at the FIAP Biennial in 2021. She regularly participates in international competitions such as ND Awards, Close-Up Photographer of the Year, Luxembourg Art Prize, and IPA, and was ranked among the Top 150 photographers in the Macro category at the 7th 35 Awards.
Mirjana has held six solo exhibitions and continues to exhibit in group shows organized by the Croatian Association of Fine Artists and Art Critics and the Croatian Association of Fine Artists of Istria.
